During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China Southern Power Grid senior manager have set forth plans to invest 2.6 billion yuan into power grid construction in Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, to build a main network power supply framework of "indoor + cable lines" in the region.
CSG is expected to build 7-circuit 220 kV main ring network corridors interconnecting with bulk power grids outside the region and carry out the application of multi-level collaborative self-healing and renovation of intelligent switchgear.
Concurrently there is expected to be a significant increase and optimization of automatic device distribution to achieve 100% coverage of intelligent stations to fully support the economic development and ensure reliable power supply of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.
Likewise, China Southern Power Grid senior managers will also accelerate the construction of distributed green certificate trading platform, promote the development of the electric carbon economy and facilitate the sustainable development of Hengqin's green economy.
